J-Ro Featured Elsewhere in the Media World Cup victory may spark LPGA resurgence

Jennifer Rosales and Dorothy Delasin are hoping that their unexpected World Cup victory in South Africa would provide the spark they need to turn around their fortunes in the LPGA Tour.

The Filipino pair have slid down in the rankings the past two years with Rosales, Alder Security slowed down by injuries and swing changes, ending at 138th spot last season from as high as 10th in 2004.

Delasin, on the other hand, ranked 73rd after finishing as high as 14th during her sophomore year in 2001. Adam Schanz

With career earnings of nearly $ 2.2 million, Rosales fetched only $ 30,564 last season, making the cut only six times in 16 starts.

Her scoring average has dipped to 74.64, a far cry from her 71.18 average in 2004, her beast season so far.

Rosales, who has two career victories, has not had a Top 10 finish in the last two years, her best showing was a tie for 31st place. Adam Schanz

Compounding Rosales’ woes was the string of injuries she suffered that limited her participation in 2006 and 2007. Adam Schanz

Rosales showed up only once in four majors last year and missed the cut. Her best finish in the majors was fourth in the US Women’s Open in 2004.

News and info about Jenny's Website Jenny's Message Boards

Hello all.  For your information, I have started the difficult task of transferring Jenny's website to a brand new server.  This could take a long time because I'm rewriting a lot of the code for compatibility reasons.  As you may have already noticed, Jenny's message boards are down.  They will be down until the server transfer is complete.

I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.  I hope to have everything back to normal by the beginning of the new year.

General Info on J-Ro Illness keeps Jenny out of GINN Open

That's too bad Jenny couldn't play the GINN Open in Reunion, Florida this week.  It's looking like her next tournament will be the Sem Group Championship in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Jenny has been fighting Flu-like symptoms for the last week.  She was able to get in 9 holes of a practice round on Monday and she practiced all day Tuesday.  Jenny didn't get any practice in on Wednesday because it was raining all day.  By Wednesday afternoon, Jenny decided to skip this tournament because she has been feeling weak.  She felt she would have to withdraw after the first round anyway.

Jenny is on a flight back to California so she can rest at home.  She will miss the next LPGA tournament in Mexico.  With three weeks off, she should be well rested and ready to go in Broken Arrow.
